Yes. Sparks Lab Kids runs a small private coding and robotics course for kids in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai. Students use simple, real code to control a car they build themselves, and they take the car home at the end.

Yes. The current course is a hands-on robotics project: students assemble a real RC car, connect the motors and wires, and drive it over Wi-Fi from a phone or laptop.

Yes. The course runs Wednesday, July 22 to Wednesday, July 29, 2026, during the break. It is a 7-session small private course with no class on Tuesday July 28. It includes an optional help/testing session before final drive day, and it ends with students taking their completed working RC car and certificate home.

By the end, students can build a working Wi-Fi controlled RC car, name its main parts (controller, motors, wires, battery, and control page), use simple code to control real movement, wire and test safely, debug when something does not work, and explain how the car works in their own words.

The course is designed for ages 10–15. If your child is slightly outside that range, message us and we can tell you honestly whether the pace and project are a good fit.

No. The course is built for beginners. Everything is explained in plain language, one step at a time, and the class is small enough that nobody gets left behind. Kids who already know a little coding will have room to go further with the same project.

Yes. Instruction is in English, with clear explanations and hands-on support. The instructor grew up in the United States and also speaks Thai, which helps when a student needs something explained another way.

Small on purpose. This is a private course with limited seats, so every student can ask questions and get help without feeling lost in a crowd.

Students work in a small class with direct, hands-on guidance. Wiring, motors, battery connections, and testing are introduced step by step, and students learn to check their work and test safely. If you have a specific safety or support question, message us before registering.

By building, testing, and fixing. When the car does not work, that becomes part of the lesson: students learn to find the problem and fix it. That is where the confidence comes from, and it is the skill that lasts after the course ends.

The course is 7 sessions: Wednesday July 22, Thursday July 23, Friday July 24, Saturday July 25, Sunday July 26, Monday July 27, and Wednesday July 29, 2026. There is no class on Tuesday July 28. Monday July 27 is an optional help/testing day for students who want extra support before final drive day. Weekday sessions run 4:45–6:45 PM and weekend sessions run 1:45–5:45 PM, with a 15-minute drop-off and pick-up window.

The current sale price is 4,900 THB. The original price is 6,900 THB. The price includes all 7 sessions, instruction, guided build time, car project materials, a certificate, and the completed take-home RC car. No payment is collected on the form; we confirm availability and answer questions first.

Yes. This is a small private class, so seats are limited. Submit the reservation form or message us, and we will confirm availability before anything else happens.

To hold a seat, families pay a 50% deposit after availability is confirmed. Deposits are refundable until 15 days before the course begins, excluding any bank or transfer fees. Starting 14 days before the course begins, deposits become non-refundable because materials, staffing, venue planning, and seat availability have already been committed. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the course begins. Once the final balance has been paid, tuition is non-refundable. Families may transfer the seat to another eligible student up to 48 hours before the course begins. If Sparks Lab Kids cancels the course, families may choose either a full refund or a free transfer to a future course.

Nothing special is required. Laptops and all project materials are provided. Students should wear comfortable clothes they don’t mind getting a little dusty from electronics work. Bring a water bottle; snack breaks are included in each session.

We understand schedules change. Because the class is small, it is easy for us to help a student catch up at the start of the next session or during the optional help/testing day. Sessions build on each other, so we encourage attending all seven scheduled sessions.

Yes. Peace Culture Foundation has on-site parking for drop-off and pick-up. The venue is at 155 Moo 10, Baan Waen, Hang Dong, Chiang Mai, about 20 minutes south of the Nimman area.
